Breien skills training conducted by Bhakti KopWan Faithful Women of East Java on October 20, 2009 until October 27, 2009 and was followed by 135 participants went pretty smoothly. Breien skills training was held aimed at increasing the level of existing human resources in the cooperative women's Faithful Bhakti women in East Java, so expect the creation of an independent individual and cooperative work.
In need accuracy and patience to be able to create a beautiful knitted or breien. Here are ways to make knitted or breien:
1. The term in knitting.
Knit (k) is hooking a thread from the front or the top (which is closer to our bodies), produces a display like the vertical chain (called a straight stitch, stitch below).
Purl (p) is hooking a thread from the back or bottom, resulting in a display such as a stretch horizontally (sticks up) ....
Cast on (co) is the combined jab will be the foundation of basic crochet. Can be compared as to make early in the crochet chain. (Initial stab)
2. Tools needed:
breien tool
- Breipen (a type of large needle) is a tool that is used for knitting. This tool can be made of aluminum, bamboo, wood or plastic. For beginners we recommend using a large knitting needle (80-10)
- The yarn used in knitting / breien is made from cotton yarn, thread local wool, 2 ply wool yarn, cotton softy, bulky yarn, thick cotton wool.
But for beginners are advised to use 6 ply yarn.
- Scissors
3. The steps in knitting:
- Node base
• Before making a basic knot, first make co (cast on) at one end of a knitting needle.
• Create an initial node, insert the yarn on the outside of the thumb. Drag the appropriate diameter of the needle
- Plugs basis breien
• Knit / k (bottom pin)
Create Co. early, put on the right knitting needle into the left hole, attach yarn to the knitting needle on the right, pick out the yarn through the hole by using the right needle.
• Purl / p (pin up)
Create Co. early, put on the right knitting needle into the back of the bottom up, attach yarn on the needle, pick out the connection string.
4. Variations puncture.
- Motif garter (garter stitch)
• Create co 20 STS
• Line 1: for k 20, turn
• Line 2: for k 20, turn
• Repeat until you reach the desired length.
- Motif stokinette
• Create co 20 STS
• Line 1: for k 20, turn
• Line 2: for p 20, behind
• Repeat rows 1 and 2 to achieve the desired length
- Motif seed (seed stitch)
• Create co 20 STS
• Line 1: for (k1, p1), repeat 2 times until the end.
• Do keep on each line until it reaches the desired length.
- Motif lace (ribbed stitch)
This type of stitch used to finish a knitted. results of elastic and stitches are smaller than garter stitch or stokinette.
