Batik skills training that have been implemented some time ago to get big enough enthusiasm from women cooperative members Bhakti Faithful Women of East Java, the love of batik as an Indonesian national heritage encourages the spirit of Bhakti kopwan Faithful Women of East Java to keep preserve it by following the skills training batik. After discussion on how to process the batik cloth and the like, here is the coloring on fabric batik.
The tools needed:
- A letter scales
- 1 cup for soda takeran of 100 cc or pipette (droplets)
- 1 cup of water to 500 cc takeran
- 2 large soup bowls

- 1 brush for laundry
- 2 pencil or small brush to "nyolet"

Drugs used to make color Puder form consists of two kinds, namely:
1. Napthol
Must be mixed with soda liquid (Loog), when it intervened in the given boiling water until clear and then given a cold water
2. Salt
Simply put cold water on
How to make Loog:
Liquid soda as much as 441 grams, caustik soda (soda water), 1 liter of water Gedistileerd (can buy at pharmacies). All this mixed together so that liquid. If the liquid is measured by the size of the name "Baume". The size of the liquid soda there should be 360 (Baume), will be in use.
Comparison:
1. Naphtol and Soda: 1 g napthol, 1 ½ cc Loog (soda water), 250 cc of water (comprising 100 cc and 150 cc of boiling water cold water)
2. Naphtol and salt: 1 g naphtol, 2 / 3 of salt, 250 cc of cold water.
How to dilute these drugs:
1. 1 g naphtol and 1 ½ cc of soda in the mix until blended well and then given 100 cc of boiling water stirring until the liquid looks clear napthol / bening.Jika not yet clear in boiling water add a little more, then the new 150 cc of cold water in the mix.
2. Saline solution: 2 grams of salt dissolved in water as much as the same as the solution of napthol, so 250 cc cold water.
3. When it is late at all, well the solution is tested on a white cloth, in order to know the color of the known desired color, because color usually appears less suitable. Kalu wants young color, napthol dissolved in cold water and add salt little by little until there is a desired color.
The process of batik fabric color:
Who finished in batik cloth, washed with a brush so lost kanjinya, then dry in the sun but not until dry. After it is inserted in a solution of naphtol first. 6 times in advance and 6 times in the back. Dried in the sun again until dry and then in put in a salt solution. Batik cloth in the dye should repeat as above but only 3 times in the face and three times in the back. This means that colors can be flat and somewhat shiny. Again dried in the sun until dry, then enter the preformance in boiling water to eliminate the evening.
